Official ROM release date
 

Well I finally heard that the vogue Sprint rom official release date should be July 21st so long as everything goes smoothly in their testing.

I did check his prior posts, and he has been on the money every time. I have actually been waiting for him to make the announcement. It is the only one that I will truely take to heart.

what the heck are they testing they can never make it 100% non bug even microsoft with there overpriced vista had bugs when it was released
so that does not make any senc at all
i think it is more like how can we make the rom more dependant on paying services as appose to free services
it will always be about money covered in we care about the consumer bull****!

Software including operating systems will ALWAYS have bugs. Hell UNIX just had a bug fixed in the malloc or something like that, which is 33 years old. I'll repeat that, unix bug that was THIRTY THREE YEARS OLD. I think many of us saw how unstable the most recent roms have been I am glad they are trying to fix the bugs. Lastly, they subsidize the phone they have every right to do as the wish, choose another provider if you don't like the one they have. Is it shady, yes, are they a buisness, yes, what is the goal of a buisness, TO MAKE MONEY.

You just flash it. You don't have to unlock it, flash back, or anything.

are you guys serious ? i thought the one posted here was the final release ? i m going to have to flash once again ? ](*,)

i mean i did notice a few bugs with internet explorer not working at times.

The last one posted might be the final but I can not promise... I know the previous one was not.

I guess we will see in the morning on the 21st. Now wont we.

For all the nay sayers just read my previous post... If there are any changes to the date that I am informed of I will post up.. But as of 5am this morning the 21st of July was the targeted date for both vogue and titan.

Read the OP's post 3 above yours. Sounds like there may not be changes from the last leak. And the delta between the 2 leaks was really minor, so if there are changes from leak #2, I wouldn't expect anything more than a small bug fix or so.

I checked the HTC site and they added a Software Download link that was not there before, so it seems they are preparing for it.

so until its up its not offical as sprint will just laugh at you when you come in and after you brick your phone. also could sprint kick users off the network who run unsupported roms? would it be a violation of Terms and Conditions of Services.

I think I'd know if I went to Alltel site instead of the Sprint one...

I still see it, so either the change has not propagated for everyone, or it is a cache issue.

To me any prediction is worth a shot in discussing. I mean this is what we are here for on this board is to speculate the release dates and such. Otherwise, we won't be doing anything on this board.

I myself speculate that ROM will be released back in JUne after seeing the first leaked, and comparing it with the Titan leaked, so it's all good.

All in all, we are all here for a common reason and regardless if speculation is good or not, chime in with good input not to bash anyone!!

Well people like to claim their sources.. Mine is reliable as can be... I am sending a email tonight as a final check hoping and crossing fingers that nothing went wrong in their testing... I will update tomorrow as well...

Well finally! Lol I have not upgraded to a GPS ROM yet so I could wait for the official one incase my phone gets a problem because I am still on trial with my upgrade so yeah.
Anyways this will be fantastic if its true!

Also yeah looks like the Moguls update is finally up too! Which is nice.. Should mean the Touch's is soon to come.. Hopefully anyways lol.
The Mogul actually didnt really need an upgrade besides Sprint TV and 6.1 ... Its a powerhouse now with this update wow.

Guy's check out the software download for the MOGUL.

It's lists July 21st and says "Sprint TOUCH", I think someone goofed.
