ok ill find that applaincher and delete it. and let you know.
i removed teh MediaOS stuff, we will see if that is ok as well

i found APlauncher in OEMAPPS is that the right one?

Yep, the following are WMP in the ..\SYS directory:

MediaOS
MediaOS_dpi_96_resh_240_resv_320
MediaOS_Lang_0409

You can delete those and be good...

Not for sure, but looking at the registry entries, and running catalog.lnk on the device....unless your a shopper...I've never looked at it really.

doing this i lost all my media files...so i just put them back in.

i cant seem to get the SMMS to work. it freezes my ppc everytie i click on it, itwill not even open

well i put netcf 3.5 in there, i will remove that and see if it changes anything...
taken out and added alot.
i keep changing alot. just want this to be really lean. cant figure out how to get rid of cube all together. also just other things that take up room. but its fun to mess around with

i also tried deleting it from the ROM and installing it through cab, and it still froze.....weird

That would do it. You may want to inquire with ?smmsguy? in his thread about that. I usually don't mess with swapping out netcf myself...
