Well what I basically did was break apart the Sprint ROM using the Vogue Kitchen tools, then went into the \OEM\OEMDrivers folder, opened the Vogue_Drivers.rar from the PPC Kitchen, and replaced the dlls in the archive with the ones from the Sprint ROM. And just cooked my ROM.

The new PPST I made was from the PPST cab file in the Sprint exe itself, that's were I got the 4.20 version of PPST.exe, but it wasn't complete (I dunno why) and it reset my PRL completely and I was stuck on roaming, until I checked somethings and fixed the problem. The new cab I made is fine now, I tested it twice after re-flashing and my PRL is still 60613, and the phone isn't stuck on roaming anymore.

I also added the d3dm_ati.dll drivers and the new ddi drivers along with ahi2dati.dll, and libgles_cm.dll to the drivers archive, and then used the registry in the ROM to local hook the ATI drivers instead of the htc_d3dm.dll but my phone wouldn't show the OS (got past my splash screens and got the WinMo startup sound but screen was blank), lol my try at incorporating the 3D drivers .

Edit: Actually the PPST_080516_7500_SPCS_2.04.sa.CAB that you posted still has the 4.19 version of the exe, I dunno if that matters though since it has more things in it as well . Here is the cab I made, don't mind the name, I just kept the similar to the PPST_080407_7500_SPCS_2.03.

SO it's now been a full 24 hours since I installed your PPST cab and all I can say is the problem I was having not being able to get satellite fixes after 20 or so hours is now resolved resolved.

Thanks again.

Any chance we can get these new PPST's into the kitchen as the existing ones are buggy.

No prob . And I just made an OEM file of the PPST cab, just unzip the folder into the USER_OEM folder in the PPCKitchen directory and select it in BuildOS (its listed under Utilities). And to make life a bit easier the OEM will also place a shortcut to PPST in the programs menu, so no need to hunt for it in the \Windows folder .

Important:
When you get the message to overwrite files during the building process just say yes.

Or you can use my modified Carriers_Vogue.rar, just replace the one in the Kitchens folder, it will already have all the files under Sprint, and no need to use the OEM or the cab. Once again just rename the zip extension to rar and Enjoy.

THIS IS FOR SPRINT ONLY

I'm not sure about a quick fix, but the easier one would be to uninstall and delete the files and reinstall BuildOS and re-download the files again.

Or you can just delete the txt files in the \projects folder and download the txt files manually and place them there.

http://ppckitchen.org/downloads/ go here and download the Vogue related txt files. If that doesnt fix it then try option 1.

Re: Vogue 19588 Kitchen

i just installed the kitchen, and used the updater to install the oems and the new vogue files. but when i try to run buildos it gives me an error saying "This application failed to initialize properly (Oxc0000135)", Anyone else have this problem?

I tried unistalling, repairing, redownloading, and restarting my computer but none of it worked. Anybody else have a suggestion? Maybe I'll try it on my desktop instead of my laptop.

All I can think of is do you have the latest .NET installed on your PC? If not, then you have to download it from the Microsoft website.

Re: Vogue 19588 Kitchen

So, this still applies to only people building ROMs for Sprint Touch phones? Or will using the Kitchen app to install it allow it's use on other carriers? Like Version .... ?

Yea sorry I should have been more clear this is still only for Sprint users. I only modified the Sprint files, so using the Carriers_Vogue.rar to cook for other carriers will have no effect.
