OMJ's 3.03, 3.09, M2D WM6.1 Custom Touch ROMs w/ User Customization! Updated 10/9/08

Hey OMJ,

Its been some time. Again, I had to download your latest ROM and again its great. One item/issue I a m running into is with Footprint and having the capability to turn off the GPS/Location system as it uses a lot of power. I understand that can be toggled in the "Location" field in Settings but it does not seem to do anything when I press it. Can you tell me what i can do to get "Location" working?

Two things I noticed:
1) In Messaging (texting), the new text icon does not do anything when depressed.
2) I got the biotouch error, what is it? and what is the fix? I downloaded the Biotouch.zip but have not done anything yet.
3) and "Music" seems to be stuck in seraching... mode.

Finally was home long enough to install the Beta. So far, no problems. Another really good ROM.

Good evening everyone. I have been asked by old_man_jenkins to inform everyone that he will not be posting for a while. There has been a death in the family.

OMJ's roms are great and if you guys can help each other out with any issues/questions, that would be helpfull. And if you guys need further help, pm me. I learned from omj's roms and we have similiar styles. I'll be monitoring the thread for any important issues.

Everyone should include old_man_jenkins in their thoughts and prayers, and I'm sure he'll be back soon enough!

I have not received a biotouch error. I'm not sure what I would need to do to create the error, but so far, it has not appeared. If it is related to the TouchFlo scrolling, I use the SPB Smart Scroll and disabled TouchFlo very early on.

Your other three issues are with features I do not use. I very rarely do any text messaging, however I just checked and the New button and menu options do not work. I use PocketPlayer for my music and have disabled the Music Tab in M2D. And I have not played much with Footprints.

I didn't really do a thorough beta test: trying each button and changing each setting. I just flashed it and used it and have not experienced any problems.

I just noticed a minor issue that I think was mentioned earlier: the Power and Backlight settings seem to be missing. The exe's are in the Windows directory, but the shortcuts are not in the settings folder. Also, the Backlight sliders wont move. Maybe a registry issue?

Great rom but I noticed that whenever I pres settings from the today menu, my phone freezes and I have to reset it and the footprints does not work..any way to fix them
