on my latest m2d roms I disabled the cube, to enable it....

Omj i have a question, is there a way to change the page pool without re flashing a rom, i am runnng the sprit based 3.03 because i had troubble with the 3.09bell rom, and i want to change the page pool to make it higher to increse the speed of my device. if i do have to reflash do you know of a freeware backup program that will back up all my programs, as well as my reg edits. would it be possible after re-flash to just coppy the windows folder and replace it afterwards? thanks for your help. and what page pool did you run when you had the htc touch, what do you recoment for me to have to reduce the lagg of games, and multitasking, like listening to music while doing other things?

Hi OMJ:

I am having HTC Touch from Sprint. I just applied the ImCokeMan's unlocker 2.31. It said completed/Finished. I then applied you'r custom flash to enable the GPS.

After reboot, it just shows HTC smart mobility screen but doesn't boot up. Is that I am missing something?

Hi:

I followed the link http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=20370 and then used ImCokeMan's Unlocker 2.31. When I press the power, camera and reset button I can see 2.31 Coke. After that I was able to get Windows screen and got Sprint service and made a call and tested.

Then I used the active sync and installed ROM "OMJ.3.09.01.Custom" under the link http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=30332

Now when it restarted I can just see the "HTC smart Mobility" screen and not booting up. What should be done? Is it a failure.

Please help.

First let me say this is my first attempt at a custom ROM but I think it went pretty well. I have a Sprint Touch and installed the OMJ.3.09.Manilla.v3.exe Rom. All seems to loading up properly and I love the look and feel of it, sadly the data connection is not working. I'll see the little "Dialing #777" pop up but it doesn't seem to connect properly. Anything using the internet connection fails to load.

I did attempt to change the DNS as it's set to automatically assign them and changed them to:
DNS: 68.28.114.91
Alt DNS: 68.28.58.11
This did seem to work for a second and got my weather to update but then quickly reverted back and now I can't get it to work again. Any ideas? Did I even install the proper ROM? Thanks.

EDIT: Nevermind...I'm an idiot and didn't see the DCD carrier cab files.

yeah, i believe it has to be done pre-flash....not sure what program to use to back up programs, I just re-install....if i remember correctly, I had my PP @ 18.

sounds like u did not upgrade your radio 1st....u must have a 3.xx radio.

YES!!! forget WHo Da MAn.... OMJ, YOu Da MAN!!! I freakin luv your M2d custom rom... im running your bell 3.0.9 rom w/ the dcd sprint carrier cab, works like a charm... My first custom rom ive flashed, and I havent wanted to try any others... The news that you will update is a major plus to my day... now I am amp'd and waiting patienly on that. I want to thank you, because I know that you dont have to do so much work, especially for us vogue user since you've upgrade to diamond. So I for one appreciate your loyaltee to your Rom supporters

That being said... you posted asking for suggestions... so I have a few I hope you'd take into your consideration. Seeing as i love your fully loaded rom and how your able to load it w/ so much stuff and still keep it w/ so much program and storage memory(i have no idea how you mange to do that) I'd ask if you can throw in a couple extra apps.

1. a pic mail app like the sprint pic mail or some guy smms or something similar

2. the TiTan Pro Java platform (that comes preloaded for the diamond and pro) I have the cab for the touch/mogul and I can provide that if you need... just shoot me a pm... i ask b/c it the best Java platform ive use(blows the rest out of the water... but since loading it ive noticed its a crazy memory hog if its not built into the rom)

also (these suggestion cam from a post i did in this thread earlier regardin some issues i had after flashing)...

if you can update the adv. conf. tool (i think its like at v. 3.xx) and m2d/m2dc so that when i try to customize widgets (like chnging the order) it wont crash the OS... The mbarvarian m2d landscape mode would be pretty nice too...lol

It be cool if you could implement some if not all of the suggestion... but whatever you throw to gether I know itll be awesome...

glad ya like it, I luv'd it too when I have the Touch.

I hope to start working on the update soon, sorry it's taking longer guys, but I got alot going on.
