So - what will I be really getting from Manilla ROM then if I uncheck it.. ? I mean should I be even on Manilla ROMs if I don't want 2D Today ?

then you should flash back to the 3.09 OMJ Rom either custom or Clean, both are great and fast :)
With Manila, I believe it slows everything down so I suggest reflashing instead of only unchecking it.

Thanks OMJ. As usual, a snappy and stable ROM. One query though, is there a way to swith from digital to analog clock?

go here to download them and extract them in windows folder, but make sure to uncheck everything in Today setting first before extracting :)

Or if you are talking about the start bar digital clock, then you can point your stylus to the digital clock and hold on the clock until the choice appears of "Analog or Digital"

Re All's, don't forget the ROM is still the 3.09 (Start/Setting/System/Device Info), as mentionned on post #619 (see below) by OMJ, there is no big changes except the install of the "plugin", and this last one is not redesigning the whole OS, it just have the functions of big interactive skin. So yes, except if OMJ says something different, it's the same rom and you won't see the "manila2d.exe" running in the process.

I read on another forum that SPL should change performance of this rom...eich..., we're all (at least 99%..) running ImCokeMan 2.31 MFG SPL, so please ignore this rumor!

About the speed, I suggest to play with the PagePool.exe tool in the rar archive (always included in the file) from FTP to adjust desired speed. 16 or 24 are good suggestions, and if it's the first time you work with a cooked rom, don't expect to see a different without tried it after couple of days.

For purists, yes rolling back to 3.09.01.custom will solve all problems! :)

Anyhelp on sending MMS/Picture message? I have verizon, and don't have the option to send MMS only via email once i take a picture...

I flashed to OMJS 3.09 rom but can't seem to get the MMS/ Picture messaging working. When I take a picture it jsut gives me the EMAIL option not MMS/Picture.

Also, is there a way to set it so when i take a picture the Camera Album displays the photo if it's stored on the SD card?

Thanks Archius, but I've already tried installing various themes off that XDA-developers thread. The problem is that although they change the background, colours, and icons - they don't seem to be able to change the clock from digital to analog.

Just an idea - when you have an issue with something in someones ROM
post the question in that thread, going to have better luck attracting the attention of the Chef in question or of someone using the ROM whom can answer you directly
