was your GPS working when u flashed the new VZW 6.1 rom? if you did not check, I would flash the new VZW rom again & make sure your GPS works.

Other than that, a Verizon user would need to chime in to help ya, as I am on Sprint & dont have the Touch no more.

if you have a newer flash player in cab format, you should be able to install it

Hi Jenkins .... well not sure if it ws woring ...since i had to get a replacement for my touch .... so I went thru the motions of flashing with this one and i accidently let the custimazations run ,, and did the gps fix ...(ooops) and so i found the stock rom vwz and reflashed but since then ##3424 doesnt wirk ... but i read somewhere here using ##3424# and i see the the dmrouter runs. ... and i get a whitescreen with info ... i dunno ... also the viewgps program ..scans and it does know that gps is in com4 ..yet it doesnt find sats.. ok ..i will try to upfrade rom again ..thank u ..

P.s your ROMS are GREAT !

Hi OMJ,

I've been using your M2d ROM for a while, I do have 1 problem that I have not got time to go on here and ask. The voice dial volume is too low through the bluetooth headset.
Every other sounds are OK, Phone, System...etc, just the beep and confirmation from voice dial is way too low.

Great ROM OMJ. anxiously awaiting the next update. A suggestion- for the next update could you add in pdg's clean dialer?

For those having trouble doing ##3424 on a dialer that doesn't support those codes, there is a workaround. Here's how I did it.

I used the program QuickMenu. Once you have it installed, click Start, QuickMenu, and there should be a option that says "Execute" or something similar. It may also not be under QuickMenu, I can't remember exactly and I don't have it installed right now, but it is somewhere under Start. From there, browse to dmrouter.exe. Select that, and in the parameter field, type /DIAG.

So, your top field should look like this:

\windows\dmrouter.exe

And the bottom field should look like this:

/DIAG

Once you have that, execute it, and it should put your phone into DIAG mode. Then, when you need to get out of DIAG mode, follow the same steps above then exit.

See, when I was trying to fix my GPS and had to enter DIAG mode, no combination of #'s and 3424 would work. I tried everything suggested to me, including #3424, ##3424, ##3424#. Nothing but QuickMenu allowed me to do it.

Hi ,,, I have a OMJ rom 3.09.666.1 and RADio 3.42.50 ... but my gps is not working .... i wanted to reinstall stock rom VZW upgrade .. RUU_Vogue_VZW_WWE_3.14.605.1_Radio_3.37.77_Ship.ex e to start fresh ,,, i originally let customize run on RUU_Vogue_4350_BM_WWE_3.08.666.1_Radio3.42.50_Ship .exe when i first got my xv6900 messing up my vz stuff so I did the VZ rom above then reflashed to BM one then flashed once again to OMJ !! Can i do that again ?? or will it brick my phone ?? i just feel that somethin went wrong the 1sttime around and want to REDO ! thanks -jackie

sorry, but I dont have a fix, 1st I have heard of this.

sorry, but I no longer have the Touch, I'm now on the Diamond.....so I wont be cooking anymore Touch roms.

yes, you can repeat w/o worrying about bricking....I would flash the new VZW, let customizations run, and make sure everything is working b4 going on......you may not need to flash the bell rom b4 my custom. if the VZW radio is working good, you may want to stick w/ it.
