I'm trying to help a friend that has a Verizon 6900 w/ a cracked case.
I'm not going to bother returning it to the stock rom, but I would like to load a rom that at least has the same splash screens as the original Verizon rom.

Do you still have that rom somewhere in your FTP folders?
I don't know what the Verizon screens look like, or what animation they use, otherwise I'd just make a clean rom in the kitchen.

I would just assume any app that outputs sounds would take it out of silent.

video sites is not an app, it's just a list of urls. click on a link, it takes u to that particular website, then u find a video to play.

Hi Jenkins; first off thanks and nice work. I've used the m2d and now the 3.09 custom and I have two problems I can't seem to get away from. First off; this rom keeps reverting back to Central Time. I thought it was Outlook and found eventually found the setting for it and that wasn't it.. I even decided to NOT connect it to a pc at all for a day and it still wants to remain in Central Time. I put it in -5 Eastern and within 3 or 4 hours... I check and the setting is back CST again. Very Frustrating now for weeks.

and the second problem; is there any registry setting I could edit to KILL XT9. It's nice to have if I text while driving (something I've stopped doing)... But I've killed it in every way I know how and it goes away just for that text I'm sending. I start up a new text and XT9 is there with it thick bar taking up a line or two. I use a bt keyboard most of the time and when I do use the Onscreen keyboard I try to ignore it but every time I use slang or an alternate spelling its SAVES IT.. now crap like "going2sleep" and "C-u-N-a-bit" is a word. I so wish I could get rid of that XT9 bar and it's suggestions.

go to start - setting - input and go thru EACH input and click on "word completion tab" on bottom and uncheck all and also click on "clear stored entries" DO THAT FOR ALL THE INPUT METHOD ON PULL DOWN MENU!!

I am looking for an answer, On this Rom, I am not using the M2D, everything is great except it wont hold FAVORITE PEOPLE on the Home page. I tried re flashing and that didnt solve the problem. Any ideas, suggestions is greatly appreciated.

I tried that and when to text and soon as I hit the first character XT9 suggestions pops up in it's bar.

So that didn't work out for me, thanks for the suggestion.

Tried that too and it just reverts back... I'm starting to think that my carrier (MetroPCS) is doing it.. It just makes no sense to have to set this thing back to EST two or three times aday.

you dont know what the cube is? swipe your finger across the screen from botton to top.....when u save your fav people on the cube, they automattically are saved on HTC Home.
