welp... running that PPST_204 on my Sprint Vogue destroyed the internet connection... quite interesting...

time for some testing (but I should be working...)

Do you have a link to the ppst.exe you want in the rom? I can easily add it. On this rom, I run without it. When I installled the original sprint rom, I let customizations run, waited for the IOTA to run, then flashed this. I have no problem with GPS, thus the GPS "bloatware"

Any volunteers to edit the registry settings for the cube to match the rom? I'm not an artistic guy. Then upload the icons, and an export of the biotouch registry?

The cab that yamus08 linked to is the correct one---but it's funny that they specifically state to run the cab, then run ppst.exe from \windows, like we used to on the old ppst.exe... but I think it AUTOMATICALLY runs ppst.exe after you run the cab file, because it makes you restart the device after the cab is run.

Plus, I tried running ppst.exe manually, and it totally barfed the internet--so I already hard-reset once this morning.

So far, I just ran ppst_204.cab, and I THINK I'm getting okay GPS results... I will only know by using it on/off all day... The main problem with most ROMs is that GPS just stops working after a few GPS sessions... I can usually break GPS by using GPSToday. I just do like 10 quick-locks in a row, and then by the 4th-10th try, it no longer works, at all... sometimes by the 5th try, it just gets really slow, like 2 minutes...

with the Sprint ROM, it is always the same... COLD=30 seconds or so, and HOT= 10 seconds or so...

I'll let you know what I find...

Got v3 uploaded to RapidShare for now....

Looking for someone to match the cube to the rom. New different features include: TouchPal 3.5, Vista Cube, and WiseBar v2.

Hopefully in the morning if I get time, and the ftp allowing, I was gonna upload my whole kitchen... I sorta lost it when I saw how artzy dharveys was. But this is still the rom I run and by uploading my kitchen, it will give everyone a good base to work off of and learn from...

I'm a never at home person so the only internet I have is tethering. Today the ftp didn't cooperate. It's coming, got the tutorial done, kitchen all zip'ed up...I'm just waiting for some bandwidth, er the ftp not to kick me off after 32mb's....

Well I hate building my own ROM's so the kitchen doesn't bother me too much, I'm a beta tester for all ROM's and help out everyone
