Is it just me or can you not set the transparency level for your today screen image?

you can only set the transparency level of a picture if you use the pictures & Videos and then right click on your image and select set as today background.... then change the default value of 65 to a lower number like 0 for no transparency....

Re: NEW official Sprint ROM posted on XDA-dev by DCD

Well, I managed to do what should have been impossible. I downloaded the software, followed the instructions, began the ROM update, the bar showed progress at about 5% and I went downstairs. I came back and the Touch had Red, Green Blue and White bars on the screen and the program said that it had a "Communication Error". It said, no problem, the following will reset your device. The following did not and now I have a Sprint Touch with Red, Green Blue and White stripes. A brick. Can anyone suggest anything to reload the original software? Help!!

If it boots to the multicolor screen you aren't bricked yet. Just plug it back in and reinstall the ROM.

"How do you install it?" - There are plenty of detailed installation instructions here - what part do you need help with?

"I'm having trouble" - With that level of detailed problem description, I'm sure someone will be able to fix your problem quickly

Is there a simple registry fix to bring this back? Or am I the only one who's noticed...

Thanks!

Oh, and BTW, Opera Mobile 9.5 >>> 8.65. It's like day and night...
I believe it is this way now to conserve energy and only connects when called to by certain apps, i.e. texts, calls, incoming/outgoing email, or if certain programs are launched.

Re: NEW official Sprint ROM posted on XDA-dev by DCD

registry hack is

Click HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
Click ControlPanel
Click Phone
[at this point, the buttom grey status bar should read \HKLM\ControlPanel\Phone'
Click the bottom menu 'edit'
Select new dword value

Change the value name to "Flags2" (no quotes).
Select the 'hexidecimal' button.
Type 10
Click ok.
You should now see in the 'name/data' section:

Flags2 16 (0x00010)
