That's your problem. You need to be running a 3.xx Radio. As per the instructions in my tutorial, revert your device back to stock and then start again from step 1. Do not skip any steps and do not get c0cky and think the instructions do not apply to you unless you want a brick.

You can NOT run a 3.xx ROM unless you have already installed a 3.xx Radio. My tutorial will walk you through the steps of accomplishing this but you MUST follow the instructions...

i thought i covered everything ,i looked over a few times hopimg i would not miss anything . my new question is how do i revert since the phone is stuck on the htc. dark screen and wont let me do anything . i tried plugging into active sync but since it is stuck it will not read as connected .i have also tried to soft boot and hard boot.please help !!

Make sure you copy the gps dll attached to the first post to the windows directory. It's been said and tested that it locks in less than 1 minute cold start.

Put your device in bootloader and run this ROM http://www.megaupload.com/?d=YJVC72MN

Once you do this you should be able to boot into windows. After that, run this unlocker

Once you do that, flash the ROM you just flashed, AGAIN.

After that, follow the instructions very thoroughly in this post:

Just stick to the first tutorial for now. The others can be MUCH MORE DANGEROUS to your device.

It has been my experience and that of others that 3.37.10 Alltell rom works better than .15 Just a thought.

i don't flash roms that often, but this rom is holding up pretty well, battery is good and the gps locks relatively quick. i changed the pp to 16 and i can tell you that this rom is awesome and fast.

Thanks for the rom, installed it... works great. For me, this is first custom rom on phone because I hated running into bugs and all the other crap so I had refrained from using other roms.

One minor bug: CoolTek Touchpal keyboard says trial has expired when you use it everytime.

Hmmm I think that is just how it is with that. You can continue to use it free but you have to deal with the pop up since the app is shareware.

The Virser GPS file is included in the windows dictionary. Now, the Virser GPS file you gave here on these forums and the one already included in the windows dictionary are different size.

Should it make any difference?

I like the looks of your rom but just have a couple of questions.

1. I noticed you have Advanced Configuration 2.0 included and I have seen version 2.1 around. What is the difference between the two?

2. You included nueMMS. Have you considered including sMMS instead?

Ok. First post so please be gentle. I've been reading and reading and reading and I want to try flashing my Sprint Touch. I read in the directions that I need the version 3 radio but I'm guessing this ROM doesn't include that? So I have to flash another ROM first then flash this one? Also it doesn't look like this ROM includes Sprint Music. Can I get that from somewhere?

Sorry guys I am a little new at this. I read through the directions and I have a few questions before I flash. I have a sprint touch that a week ago I flashed the Alltel rom "RUU_Vogue_4350_ALLTEL_WWE_3.04.671.2_Radio_4350H_3 .37.10_Alltel_NV2.00_PRL30008_0331_Ship_withSpecia lNBH.exe" . My question is can I just download the "ALMOST OEM 6.1 Sprint Vogue ROM **V.2.1** with Working GPS/Rev A." and run the program to install or do I have to do anything else? I guess my question is do I have to run 2.31 coke unlocker before I run the "ALMOST OEM 6.1 Sprint Vogue ROM **V.2.1** with Working GPS/Rev A." or do I simply just have my phone on and plug it into the computer and run the install?

Can I used the leaked sprint rom (not the kitchen but the .exe)in this step instead of the AllTel rom? The Sprint rom has that has the 3.37.15 radio in it already correct?

usually, i hard reset after each flash, that often helps.

With this rom my phone uses 41% or about 42mb of memory when just on the home screen why is my phone using so much memory with the alltel rom i only used about 32% while on the today screen with nothing running...??? any ideas?

alright i figured it out, about the radio upgrade. and i got past the almost oem sprint rom. awesome, but i seem to have a problem with connecting to the interent now. it says " the file cannot be opened. either it is not signed with a trusted cert. or one of its components can not be found"

what it seems is when i try to access explorer through the cube. if i got to interent explorer thought the drop down menu it works fine. also please note when i hit"IM" or software store it does the same thing. so it seems as though it would be tied to the cube more than anything. thanks

i had unlocker .40 i think and installed 2.31 fine good works then installed this rom good but does not go past the boot screen ( htc black screen ) did i brick my phone?

No, just go into bootloader mode by holding down these 3 buttons simultaneously: Camera + Power + reset. It will tell you which version of the unlocker you have on this screen, and you can also flash a new ROM from this screen either via USB or SDcard.

fixed the problem redownloaded the rom and installed it again boots slow as i type but heck a slow phone is better then a brick i will post details if needed

i had same issue i redownloaded the rom and ran as admin under vista and it worked first start up is so so so slow but it gets there and it will work

noob and dont mean to sound dumb but then... Ive never done an add in rom with these many files and I m not sure how. I want this rom. I did http://67.228.199.237/forum.ppcgeeks.../paperclip.gif Derek's ROM v20 and its in exe. but Ive never done one like this so how do I do it? I have 2.31 unlocker by ImcokeMan and I undersatand that part but what after that, what do I do. Which file do I do next ? Rom utility? bootloader what? Im trying to figure it out without brickiing.
