Nope, no delivery room yet. As for 718, i re uploaded it, it was missing a file that I accidently moved while playing with the new Telus rom. Anyways, this new rom contains the Dshow drivers, an updated Streaming Media, updated Opera, Updated Java, removed facebook app, removed youtube app, new USB2PC, adn some registry tweaks... pheeew. Check the first thread for update informaiton

hey ghetto, 2 quick things:
1 - Any chance of a kitchen for 718 as I quite enjoy customizing your ROM for Telecom in New Zealand
2 - On your 715 ROM the Network time sync seems to make the clock 5 hours ahead of time although the correct time zone is selected. Is this a simple registry fix or something more?

Much appreciated!
ZeeBOB!

This is not a big deal but why does it say version 715 when loading 718 to the phone?

Re: (7/9/08) Ghettofreeryder v718 rom - 19591, Rev A, GPS, fullQWERTY,Opera,USB2PC

does push mail work for you guys in this ROM? I'm using mail2web and I'm not getting my emails instantly anymore...

EDIT: I deleted my server information and re-added it now its pushing like normal again.

The only other problem I noticed is that the D-Pad would sometimes stop working until I touch the touchscreen. Anyone have this problem?

EDIT: I don't know if this is related to my D-Pad fix but I deleted Startkey.lnk from the Windows/Startup folder and haven't had a problem since. Does anyone know what Startkey.exe is?

Ohter notes: I don't see the facebook app when I flashed like the previous poster said. I also saw that the ROM version said 715 when I ran RUU... no big deal... Other than that it's a pretty fast and stable ROM...

Inasmuch as Ghetto doesn't seem to be currently available, has anybody noticed that in the R.U.U. the version is still 715, plus in device info the rom's date is still 4-23-08 and in HTC Home, the weather is still with Canadian cities only and are not customizable? Am I overlooking something?

on this v718 rom, i noticed the gps performance reverted back to old ways...i kept it on for sev minutes and never got a lock...

on v715, i got locks under 10 sec 100% of the time.

It is just because I did not change it. As for the Canadian cities, this has been beaten with a stick 1000 times. I cant find a specific thread to point you too, but its easy. In the root of the device, open the HTCHome folder, and copy HH_0409_WeatherCities.xml to your computer, then edit it in notepad. After you open it, it will be apparent as to what you need to do. After that, copy it back to your phone. Also, maybe add it to UC, then it will be added any time you hard reset or flash

I still get 10s locks on a soft start, so I would say its something else. THe GPS performance is usually dependant on your radio settings and PPST. Id look there

Guys, a better way to change the weather settings is to install Schnapps Advanced and edit the values directly. It's one of the last options. You can use the zip code itself, which should provide more accurate weather... Fun stuff

It appears to be the USB2PC OEM. I pulled it out and now everything works great.

Yes acitvesync gives me a 608 error. I have tried changing all of the settings in us2pc with no luck. My computer does see my phone as a drive when I switch to that option.

You have to download his 718 kitchen. Then go into the oem folder and delete the usb2pc folder and then cook your rom. Thats it....
