You uncheck those in StartMenu -> Settings -> Personal -> Today... Are cooking a rom and having issues with those staying on the screen?

Still not working. Question, do you put all the contents from the "WWeatherPanel_Skin_Son-of-Commuter-240" folder into the root of the themes folder or do you leave the contents in the WWeatherPanel_Skin_Son-of-Commuter-240 folder and just place the entire folder in the root of the themes folder?

does anything show up in the settings under display, in the dropdown menus for theme, layout, icon set?

in the Program Files\Marsware\WeatherPanel folder, there should be a Themes folder. Put the Son-of-Commuter folder in there. Also move the Default folder in Program Files\Marsware\ into the WeatherPanel\Themes folder. See what you have in settings then.

There are all kinds of troublesome registry entries inside mxip provisioning files that are wreaking havoc on chefs. The today settings you seek to disable are located inside mxipupdate_oemoperators_102.provxml file located in the OperatorPKG directory. They are in XML format if you are comfortable editing them... mxip files reload certain settings upon hard/soft reset. So if you have a problem, call sprint, they tell you soft reset and the many mxip files fix the problem... Cube settings, today settings, and many others. I plan another informational tutorial on the tricky contents and what is safe to delete...

Still nothing fred. I go to settings, edit, weather images, add new, next to "select weather image, i hit the drop down arrow and there is nothing to choose from. I do get a message that says" NOTE: All stored images for this city have been deleted. Please refresh to get updated weather images"

Here are how my folders look:
program files/MarsWare/WeatherPanel/ and in that folder it contains a data and a themes folder and some other icons underneath. In the data folder, there are the city codes and in the themes folder, there is a default folder and a wweatherPanel folder. In the default folder, it contains and arrows folder and some files underneath and of course in the wweatherpanel folder, there are a bunch of files. Is that the way the set up is supposed to be?
