Wow, thanks Ghetto for the updated ROM.

The process is getting complicated. So just to clarify, I need to:

1. Flash Alltel ROM with new coke unlocker.
2. Flash Titan Radio and a JD specific "hybrid ROM"
3. Flash Ghetto ROM

Is this correct?

You don't have to do the Titan Radio part. That's optional. I'm using the alltel radio right now.

I just read through the entire Titan Radio thread and it seems like it's a better radio than the alltel one in terms of GPS lock times. I'll think about it for a while the battery is charging.

yup that was what my original question was asking, whether ghetto had tested wit the Titan radio as he said he was going to do be doing. I would prefer to use 3.35 instead of 3.37. I would assume doing the JD method and then replacing the JD with Ghetto's rom would be fine, unless there are some specific drivers that were in those JD hybrid roms....

Ghetto can you enlighten us on this aspect?

Just flashed roughly an hour ago and so far I'm very happy. Walked outside and got a fix within 15secs. I'm using GPSTODAY which might be helping my situation.

great rom so far, but there are two issues. one is that there are only a few cities for weather, and all are in canada. no big deal, i can add mine with hhc but it just seemed odd. the other is that gps is not as accurate, its off its off by 50-100, which wasnt a problem with the alltel rom, jds rom and jds custom rom.

Thank You for the kitchen. I am cooking right now. I did notice that I cannot add the Comm Manager because I am told the files already exist. How can I fix this or is there a way overwrite what already there so you can choose between vogue or vista...... Also I still have been unsucessful with the GPS... I currently have the titan radio installed. Which one do you prefer to use, titan or Alltell....

i havent got a lock using this rom using 3.35 and this rom yet. This is an excellent rom though

I am flashing a rom I just cooked in his kitchen..... I am trying to get the dang GPS to work. I cannot get a lock.....I have tried all the same thing s I had to do on my Mogul when the GPS came out. iGO and Google Maps will not lock at all. I wonder if I should switch to the alltell radio?

im gonna test again when i get off in an hour. My phone was bricked this morning.

I have 3.35 loaded. Im sure ill get it to work some type of way. Seems like more people are having better speed and locks with 3.35
