Re: Titan 3.35.04 radio

Whelp, I too am having GPS issues now. I can get 3 sats consistently locked on, but nothing over that and never enough to track my position. I have left GPS on for 1/2 hour with no improvement, and have tried priming first, QuickGPS and soft resets. Strange, because it was flying when I initially installed the ROM.

Re: Titan 3.35.04 radio

JD / Mindfrost,

Can you confirm that there are no updated/special/different GPS drivers on the Hybrid image as compared to all the other v3.x based ROMs?

With the Hybrid ROM I was seeing 5-7 locked sats but with OMJ I am seeing 3-5...
Mind you it was in different areas of the city...
I'll have to wait and see.

Just wanted to know for certain that it isn't a driver issue.

- You must have the RUU already downloaded, then extract the radio until that folder and flash.
OK this part lost me....I did the 1st flash with no problems. Now where in the heck do I put the nbh file?

Sorry for being such a NooB - I did the gpstest and it worked fine - GPS was spotchy so I wanted to try this. It appears the directions were for the more advanced.

Thanks in Advance!

I just posted a copy of the RUU here : http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...8&postcount=94

Download it, unzip it, copy the nbh into the folder with the files from the zip and then run the RomUpdateUtility.exe

Hope that helps...

Re: Titan 3.35.04 radio

OK a general question here to make sure I am doing the correct thing. When it says to hold the Power, Camera and reset button it is talking about, the button on top, the side button and then the soft reset recessed button on the bottom?
Cause this does not bring up the bootloader screen for me. It only ends up soft resetting the device. IS there any way I could have changed that feature?

When I flashed to the Altell the other day Iwas having the same issue yet I managed to confirm that the SPL had been changed another way.

With all this talk I would like to try out the Titan radio, but without being able to force the bootloader screen I am unwilling.

Any guesses or solutions people can provide?

Thanks

Re: Titan 3.35.04 radio

Sorry Mike, but you're doing it wrong. Be sure to hold all three simultaneously (sequence is not an issue).

The only other possibility is that the camera (side) or power (top) buttons are bad, but that is highly unlikely!

Re: Titan 3.35.04 radio

Yes... Make sure you "press and hold" both the power and the camera buttons and then press the soft reset while continuing to hold down the other two... Should bring up the tri color (tri color and one shade if one were to get picky! ) boot loader...
