Under HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\RIL I have a bunch of info, so I just extracted the reg file. It's a zip file because I can't attach a reg file, but if you extract it to your device or sdcard and open it, it should import.

Re: Titan 3.35.04 radio
Ok, so I cold tested the GPS this morning. No soft reset, just opened Google Maps. After about 30 seconds I had no luck so I opened GPSViewer. After about 10 sec it moved the sats from the N to various locations on the map but they stayed red. The red bars moved up and down for about 15 sec and then stopped. After about a min I switched back to Google Maps and it said 5 sats and was navigating me. When I switched back to GPS viewer it was locked blue on all of them. It is hard to say when I got the lock but overall less than 3 minutes. Much improved over the Alttel rom.
It is simply trial and error. If one gives you abnormally slow then try another near by. To select them at speedtest.net simply click on one of the blue pyramids that are located somewhere else on the map. The further you go the slower the speed may be due to transmission delays. They should be remotely small at these speeds but in the meg/s range they can play a huge difference.

Re: Titan 3.35.04 radio
When upgrading to the Titan Radio, will we have to call in and BS the carrier again like we did when upgrading to the Alltel to reactivate the phone?

It just tests how fast you can dl and ul to that individual server. It has nothing to do with setting in the phone. |
