Or call me stupid. I had uTorrent downloading about 10 torrents of WM GPS programs to test them all out. I think that might have backlogged the connection a bit. I paused them and got my 3meg+ on cable back.

Re: Titan 3.35.04 radio

Dude JD this is amazing work the radio and the ROM. With finals over and all the latest developments going on around here lately I went back to your "challenge to all the ROM chefs" thread to take a look at how to get into this further. I have to say man, with this latest I'm not sure how I'll ever catch up but I'll try. You and a handful of others (which needs to be larger) are really helping keep the vogue alive... soon enough we'll be able to compete with those people in the titan section ;p.

I know it is not the cube but it has everything the cube had and all from the today screen. Try this file.

I don't take any credit, I found it on this site but don't remember where.

Re: Titan 3.35.04 radio

Ok, I give this ROM Two Thumbs up.

GPS so far locked from a COLD GPS Start (I assume it's cold after a ROM update) outside and it locked with Google Maps in like 30 seconds. Won't know for sure until tomorrow.

Voice Command Confirmation Works OVER BT !!! Volume on Confirmation over BT still low though.

REV-A looks about the same for me as AllTel 6.0 ROM (acording to Sprint maps I should be in REV-A).

GPS Hang Issue, won't know for a few days, anyone run into the GPS just stuck until you soft reset?

Lot's of differences in this ROM. Some look promising and will take some getting used too.

I may think differently if I run into some of the issues listed. We'll see.

I followed directions but never took SD card out.

I'd like to see a barebones ROM like this. Lot of Junk I don't want.

The overall FONTs don't look as TTF as other Native Touch ROMs.

Phone app keeps popping up like SPB Pocket Plus which is annoying.

Re: Titan 3.35.04 radio

514/162. This is with 0 bars. Its really awesome consider with 0 bars in roughly the same location in my apartment it was around 100/100. Thats with the alltel radio and your 2nd ROM gps test ROM for that one.

Then (on my laptop) tested and got 958/237 with 2-3 bars... similar to your gpstest with the alltel radio.

Re: Titan 3.35.04 radio

Another success story here... i flashed to the Titan radio and JD's new rom... didn't like the new rom too much because it didn't feel stock.... so i flashed back to the gpstest2.1 , but kept the radio. The first GPS lock took the longest but after that, its a near instant lock with Garmin everytime. I never had a problem with the original Alltel radio because I would still lock after about a minute or two, but it was nowhere as fast as this radio.

I also set the gps reg setting to 4 with both radios.

Well worth it IMO.

It was aGPS. Using similar qualcomm chips, from what I have heard. All I know is that I would get a lock in less than a second or so, (literally by the time telenav loaded in java, I would have my location.)

Accurate down to a few feet... Can the Vogue do aGPS like this?
