No HTC Home (but I think that can be added), WKTask as the Task Manager, different drop-down start menu, more vista-like, custom programs menu, custom icons. Its really not that bad and its growing on me.

I missed the part about the newer drivers in his Rom. I was thinking the Radio rom had the newer drivers.
So I wonder if this rom(not radio one) could be used with the alltel rom to improve the GPS funcionality?

After my initial success with GPS, I left my phone alone during dinner (20-30 minutes) so the screen shut off (standby). When I fired up Google Maps it didn't get a lock after 5 minutes, but it had my approximate location with aGPS, just no sat lock. That was similar to my experience on the other ROM...but it seemed to work more often after standby than the other ROM...so its better but not flawless, atleast in my experience.

I agree, but I had to diable TaskMgr from start up - i don't like having the open programs on the toolbar like that (esp since active sync is always open)

Its possible, I guess we won't really know unless someone tests it lol.

can anyone help me out with installing the cube? ive installed the cab, but it doesnt show up

You can hide ActiveSync and other apps (just hold down the stylus on it like a right click) and an options menu will popup and one option is to hide it.

I might try it later, but I don't really use the cube.

If you installed the HTC Home plugin, can you get the Favorite People to stick even without the cube? I thought that tab was related to the cube somehow.

right thats what i thought...but even though theyre both installed, the cube somehow gets disabled after startup...i think it might be registry settings, but if i swipe my finger in the very beginning of a soft reset the cube comes up, but freezes

DON'T tap the screen to get started instead wait for active sync to recognize the device.

My computer wont recognize the device unless I tap it first??? Does this matter>?
