since I don't use the cube and it was just wasted space for me I removed it however in the registry all you have to do if you install one is enable the cube

lol I'll be sure to look out for that. im having another problem though, well not really a problem. ive opened google maps and told it to find me, its seeking gps satellites with a flashing blue dot on the screen, its never done that before so im assuming thats good. but its not finding anything, its been looking for 5 or 10 minutes now. do i have to turn GPS on somehow? or do satellites just hate me? im in Michigan like you jd so i should be finding the same ones as you lol.

Edit: guess i gotta read again, just your speed test said Michigan lol, your actually in Illinois :-p

Indiana ......... make sure that in the phone settings you have the location setting turned on

I would try a different server...your ping time is WAY too high.

Those are roughly the same speeds as I am getting at dslreports via PIE

I will give it a shot. With the Alltel Rom and the same KC server I was getting roughly 1200 down and 350 up

EDIT: something else is wrong.

I am getting __ on a cable connection that is usually 3-5Mbps

Soft reset of the phone produces 839 kbps at dslreports, much better.
