Youre not supposed to use the site from your phone directly, thats why it doesnt work. You need to tether your phone to your PC and then do the speed test on your PC.

Re: Rev. A Speed Tests - Please Post your results

Measuring speed for EvDO is extremely unreliable unless you test it in the same exact position relative to the tower, as the speed varies greatly relatively to the distance from the tower. The further you are, the lower the speed. The closer you are, the faster. If you're right next to a tower, your speeds will be lower because you have too strong of a signal and you will be getting interference.

It's like measuring horsepower on a car while standing away from it and listening. You're just not ever going to gget the same results; at least not reliable enough to say x radio version is clearly better.

Re: Rev. A Speed Tests - Please Post your results

I tether a Evdo connection from my Sprint Touch from numerous different locations (Depending on where Im traveling) and as long as there is an Evdo signal (regardless of how strong) I always get between 1-1.9mbs. How far or close I am to a tower, I dont know, and frankly dont care, because Im getting and loving my fast download and upload speeds. So I'd say using speedtest.net for Evdo speed tests is pretty reliable.

Re: Rev. A Speed Tests - Please Post your results

I just now tethered my phone. Here is the first speed test I did:

Since that first test, I have probably run 10 more tonight. The download has never been that fast since my first test, usually about 1500kb/s now. The upload is still just as fast though, 400-500 kb/s.
