How-To Get GPS/Rev A on Sprint Touch

I would like to know for sure that someone other than the "True Geeks" have gotten this to successfully add gps and rev/a to their phones. I have not seen any of the post above mention that they have the gps working in a Sprint Touch/Vogue

i wouldnt consider myself a true geek (ive got no idea whats going on, but i can follow directions!) and have it up and running on my sprint touch. i did have to uninstall and reinstall the gps cab to get that working, but i was able to unlock, flash, flash again (make sure you restart before it starts to run customizations!) install the unlocking files and install the gps without any isses

ok i install everything and follow every direction now how do i now i have rev a because on the tittle bar it says evdo

your phone will not tell you if your in a rev.a or not. You need to do a speed test to confirm

you guys know what to do if the dang thing doesnt connect to the internet anymore? I think I missed the 'customizations' part... argghh

hard reset again, and as soon as it before it starts the customizations, soft reset. that will bypass the alltel customizations

for the restarting before customizations start step, how do you know when this point is? will it say "installing customizations" at which point you reset? just trying to figure out all these little things before i take the plunge
