Great job to ImCokeman and those who made this happen. I will make a few donations.
Noob question, sorry guys, but I was wondering if anyone knows if Bell's network supports rev A in vancouver bc?

Re: New Alltel 3.04.671.2 Rom Released, Rev A enabled

well all is well with this rom. GPS took about 15 friggin minutes (longer than the hacked mogul 3.16 rom) but now works perfect, locks in about 20-30 seconds.

jd's rom is pretty stable, i have came across a few bugs with it, but im happy now, and short of the video drivers, am 100% happy with my touch.

Big ups to everyone involved in cutting sprint out of the equation and getting this working.

Re: New Alltel 3.04.671.2 Rom Released, Rev A enabled

Alright... I'm pretty excited right now because the internet is actually working on the Alltel ROM now. I never had that happen before.

I am having one problem though. I am in a blanketed Rev. A area and my signal will go no higher than maxed out 1X. It will not even touch EVDO.

I have been trying for about 20 minutes to get my phone to use EVDO on the Alltel ROM and it just won't.

Does anyone know what I need to do to fix this?

I'm guessing you've tried running client initiated IOTA? if not, might be worth trying. Also assuming you have good signal? If your final destination is JD's rom, maybe you should just continue to jd's and see if it's the same?

i'm gettin 1500 kbps up and 220 kbps down on jd's rev a., with the gps, i'm FINALLY satisfied with my Touch. of course, until tomorrow that is.

Hah. Don't you believe it. I have terrible coverage in my area (central coast, Atlantic side).

Re: New Alltel 3.04.671.2 Rom Released, Rev A enabled

Make sure you install the 1,2,3 file, restart
Install the titan cab for gps restart
install quickgps, install the patch and import the reg, hit download on quick gps
install google maps...... thats it you should be good to go!

Make sure you install all the files i mention above and you should be ok! One more thing, if you are using JD it should fire up when you flash it... but if you are using the attel veriosn you have to follow those step listed above! hope it help

Re: New Alltel 3.04.671.2 Rom Released, Rev A enabled

Hey when starting this process do I need to start with a stock rom/radio? I have a custom bell 6.1 rom on there with radio 1.59.10. Should I flash back to the stock bell one (either radio 1.59.10 or 1.59.10a)? Thanks guys I'm so stolked!

I had to go into the phone settings and change from "Home" to "Standard" before my EVDO kicked in. You might try that.

No need to go to stock. I was on Bell w/6.1 rom and 1.59.10a.
Just flash as per instructions.
