Re: New Alltel Rom?

So just to review, we've gotten rev a and gps on the touch although preliminary?

Has anyone made a phone call with the new radio, I'm curious about my dropped calls/signal faded issues with the phone.

Alright I just hard reset again to try again. I wasn't soft-reseting inbetween the unlock cert's, and the install gps cab

Edit: thinking about it, I didn't set the date right either, so maybe it's searching a wrong area (from November '07)

Re: New Alltel 3.04.671.2 Rom Released, Rev A enabled

Don't think so ...even if that was the case, it would still start the gps up

The gps as of now kind of reminds me of the gps in the titan beta (3.16) ...it worked but was shakey
When the official 3.35 came out i would lock onto 5 sat's where on the beta rom it wouldnt even find any.

The internet works for me, but I have not done a speed test yet, GPS works fine for me using livesearch, and I made a phone call and the signal seems to be a bit better. I was able to make a call were I usually couldn't do before, unless I was roaming.

I made a call to my gf, she didn't pick up (we couldn't hear the phone ringing), but voice works at least... According to the bars (4 bars vs 5) I'm getting 2 bars in my room, when before it typically bounced between 1-2 at the same location.

hotboyz168,

The first time I tried to get a GPS fix took about a minute or so, now it picks up a GPS single in less then 10 seconds.

Damn aright how do i do this ;p. I'm unlocked and on ghettoryder's rom. Just flash to the alltel rom that's in the first post? or is there just a radio that you guys are using? I got all the files for the GPS already, just want to make sure all the basics are right first.
