Don't let customizations run I had to REPROGRAM my phone

Yes when you finish installing unlock files and gps cab, go into settings>system>gps settings and com 4 should already be selected under programs

Then go to acces and make sure manage gps automatically is checked

tryna make sure i dont mess my phone up, if i use the new unlocker, i should be able to flash this alltell rom on my touch and have gps enabled with no problems?

no luck with GPS... i tried it using GarminMobile XT and it finds com4:com4 GPS but keeps scanning for sats with no luck..

Here's what i did, install the 1 2 3 file then install the quickgps reg and patch and fire up google maps and thats it!

so you have installed all your applications back without any issues? and u do have sprint correct?

Somebody needs to start a vogue gps unlock tutorial!!!!! 2 question2. When you do the re-flashing do you loose all of your installed software and contacts? and can I just run spb backup, flash the new radio, and then run the restore of the backup I created?

finally a question I can answer!

Flashing a phone will always erase all data on the device itself and put it back to stock.

Restoring backups from a different ROM and version of Windows sometimes do not work. What I have done is moved all the CABs I actually install over to my SD card into \My Documents\Program Files then whenever I flash or hard reset I can get my Touch up and running like I had it within a matter of minutes.
