Re: OEM Packages
the oemizer program seems to work great for setting personal settings, email etc...but not well at all for adding registry/apps...at least not for me.
personally, i have been using the info found here: http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index...age%20Tutorial once you get to the "Converting Cabs to Packages with Ervius Package Creator" is where you've hit the real gold mine. it is GREAT. good luck. sorry for last post where there was nothing after the "here:" lol...but be sure to check that out! |

Here's the SRS WOW HD "Sound Enhancer" as an OEM. I searched hi and low for this and couldn't find anyone else that had posted an OEM for this so I created my own using the package creator. It failed at first to include all the required registry edits, so I added them manually to the rgu. I've tested this within my own customized version of Derek's v11 ROM (Sprint Touch) and it is enabled and working fine on boot.
This version of the utility has the extra input and out gain controls made visible by Ragor Ali in his modified version that he posted here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...2&postcount=29 |

Re: OEM Packages
I've been playing with the kitchen and have a question about OEM's...
When using BuildOS and it finds a duplicate file from two OEM's, can I just create a new OEM folder with that duplicate file say oem_dups throw that file in that directory and delete from the two original OEM's? As long as I include the oem_dups folder in my kitchen. Wouldn't this still install those files correctly? Since everything gets thrown into the \windows directory, in theory it sounds good, any veteran chefs wanna chime in with their solution? |

Re: OEM Packages
I have a noob question....
I just installed a 6.1 oem custom ROM but it doesn't have the HTC audio manager on it...I DLed the audiomanager zip from this thread, however, how do I install it? I've only installed programs via CABs on my Touch before.... Thanks in advance.... |
Re: OEM Packages
Is there a a utility that fixes the order of contact's name appearing in the Contacts list, changing the surname to the end instead as it presently is. Eg: If the name is John White, it now appears as White, John. Is there a utility to fix that. Thanks
