How do I turn usb to PC in 6.1 - it doesn't seem to be in the same place under settings connections.

Anyone using 6.1 to an exchange 2003 or 2007 server?

Anyone else here connected through OMA to an exchange server? I had no problem with my public certificate with WM 6 but I don't seem to be able to sync with my exchange server anymore. Since it is a public cert I didn't need to download the cert previously for my phone to sync. With the USB cable I get 80072f7d - which usually means you need to disable usb to pc under connection settings on the phone but I can't find that option on 6.1. If I try wirelessly I get 0x85010015 - which usually means a bad cert which I know isn't the case because my phone was working with the server until I just updated my phone. I have another phone I can sync with that exchange server using those same settings. I'm guessing there are some things I need to do different in WM6.1 but I don't know what those are yet.

As promised, here is the OEM Sprint WM6 ROM Merged with WM6.1 thanks to no2chem. He truely is a genius when it comes to building ROMs.

newbies who are LOST with flashing...pm me. since everyone else here has always been so helpful in getting me up and going, i figure i might as well do it this time rather than have the "vets" frustrated and threads spammed. (brace myself/inbox :S)
be patient though. i know what its like to be anxious and i will try to be prompt but...patience.

You may also want to use Schaps Advanced Configuration Tool 1.0. Install the program and under the appearance tab change "Show on title bar:" to "Battery". (ATTACHED BELOW--Just extract zip to any folder and copy cab to device and install)

Once you do both of these fixes, you will have The Sprint OEM ROM and WM6.1 Merged into an almost perfectly smooth ROM.

Have fun.

Thanks for the info!

kaos - thanks for the info.

Anyone try 6.1 with their exchange server? I get 0x85010015 from activesync on the PC. I'm using a godaddy public cert - never had an issue with any other WM devices - we've got about 30 of them and they all sync with that cert no problem - any suggestions on what I'm doing wrong or need to change? I'm not sure what security settings are different in 6.1 but I did set up all the 30 phones myself so I'm pretty familiar with the process on WM6.

Do you have registry tweak that saves attachment or the whole message to your SD card? If so, that is the case because I sync with my work exchange as well and with touch it is a known issue that it'll corrupt your sd card and therefore pocket outlook can't access data.

To confirm this, you can try to click on the Message icon in HTC Home, or just find tmail.lnk in Windows folder and click it. Expected result is pocket outlook won't open.

Hope this helps.

Can Someone Please Merge The New Bell Rom With 6.1?

boe 02-01-2008 03:51 PM

vboyz103 - thanks - actually I'm just saving it to the default location - I haven't made any mods yet all all. I just did a search and found someone else with the same issue with 6.1 on another device. Are you using 6.1 and connecting to an exchange server using OMA? I hate to go back to the old ROM but may have to if there isn't a solution for this.

PS - I manually installed the cert and I still get the same error
