the unlocker well it unlocks the phone. then you can flash roms. they come with the rom installer

I used the unlocker by cokeman. How can I tell if the phone has been unlocked. What do I look for. The one thing I noticed is that the blue light no longer flashes.

ok good. Then I guess I will be installing JD's rom. Has he updated it yet with the fixes or is the one avaable now fine. Is it easy to install?

i beleive he is updating as we speak. his is perdy dern sweet just had a bug or two to work out

You bootloader should say .40.Coke. (Tri-Color Screen when flashing, right at the top).

If it doesn't say that, its not unlocked.

Why does cokeman's unlocker have a "relocking" process? Am I supposed to just close the application and then flash a custom rom at that point? I dont see the purpose of that and also its very confusing.

This is so that you can go back to the way the phone was before you unlocked it. This ONLY affects the bootloader, not the rom itself. So to be 100% stock, you will have to flash an OEM ROM, then "relock" the bootloader (assuming that the OEM ROM doesn't do this on its own).
