thanks for the offer, but not needed. i am all for help myself. HOWEVER,
i would like to offer services as 'tester' if you need one. i like to think of myself as "work the hell' out of M$winmo. if you follow my posts, i run anywhere from 2-8 apps on an average, regular basis and like to 'play' with roms. if there is something you are just dying to try, cook it up and send me a link, just dont BRICK ME. if interested, PM me and we can go further.

thanks for the rom sorry for the delay in not getting back to you ill try it out tonight.

edit: still says mobile 6.1 during bootup lol... just figured id let you know. flashed and will try it out today

edit again: the office mobile cab powerpoint does not work says invalid application when you try to open it. also excel locked up the first few times opening it. also there are 2 battery icons on top?? any idea why?

also was that a sprint made rom or do i need to add in the sprint carrier cab to it? thanks again

found a better installer but its a msi for office 2007 http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobi...rade.mspx#none

know any way to fix the ppt.exe issue from office 2007?

the rom already says sprint in the top corner but i need the carrier cab anyway still correct?

I'm thinking Brack21 has office 2010 installed... Could be wrong though... If that is the case you need to find that CAB and install that. That should fix your power point problem.

Yes you do still need to install the carrier cab. You will need to do it every time you flash a ROM no matter what...

does the regular manilla lite have the sprint tethering fixes or can i add those later? now that we have a office 2010 official id rather use that with your lite rom unless you want to be awesome and put them in the rom for me. i dont care about the startup pages to much but the sprint ones were nice.

i have everything else i think. i would just love the above 2010 cab along with solitare (the wife love it lol) and the tethering fixes. ill add the rest btw thank you again for all the help and time

edit also can you get rid of the windows startup you have and just use the regular one like in the custom rom you made for me before? for business i dont really want him coming up each time lol

Been busy with training, sorry guys. The regular manilla lite doesn't have the sprint internet fix, it is a generic rom. Thanks LMiller for the office 2010 link, I'll have to cook it into the roms now. Zfactor, the rom I made for u had 2007 in it i believe, I'll try to cook another one with 2010 in it. That rom I cooked for you should be good to go for sprint. I cooked in the carrier cab, and internet fix. It's just like the rom I use on my phone except I add some more stuff in the one I use. I got your email also. I'll respond to it.

yes the rom you made was perfect for me i just want to add the office 2010 now that its final. other than that is was just right without all the extra garbage in it. just let me know phone is sitting waiting for a flash. and thank you

an update after using it for the day. other than the office 2010 it seems great. very basic and simple which is what we wanted for the office cell phone. thanks again and i hope if you do have time to get the newer rom with the office 2010 cab installed and please remember the sprint tethering fixes.. thank you again
