[SOLVED] Disable Haptic Vibration problem

Recently did a hard reset, restored...now my Touch Pro vibrates on hardware keyboard and power button. I unchecked touchscreen keyboard and no longer vibrates. But I can't seem to find a way to disable vibration on power button and hardware keyboard. It is very annoying. When i press a key it vibrates...

I remember i found a fix a while back before a hard reset that disabled the keyboard vibration. Now, I did extensive search here and XDA developers and no answer. Seems everyone instead want this feature on. I read a post about Dutty's disable keyboard vibration cab...but can't find it...it is mostly cooked on Roms...and his site is having issues earlier.

I also disable the program-Touch Response (burned on Rom so I can't uninstall it)

Can someone kindly assist me with this annoyance?


Update: found Dutty's disable keyboard vibration...did not stop my hardware keyboard from vibrating...
Update: Start>Settings and then click on the Personal Icon/tab, when in there click on "Input" and in there you can turn the vibrate option on and off....did not work
Update: change the following value to 0 to turn it off.hklm\software\htc\phone\phoneextendsetting\key padvibration...did not work

I noticed the home keys also vibrate when touch...didn't before.


SOLVED: after 6hrs of looking for a fix...i found it here...Thanks to a post by member, Swammi.
This reg fix it:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\OEM\KeyState]
"KeyVibratorState"=dword:00000000

Can someone make a cab? This can be useful if I ever do another hard reset.

Now i can go to sleep!


Update: I created the cab...
Should stop annoying vibration when you press power button, hardware keyboard keys and softkeys...
