so push email just stopped working last week. I talked to our exchange administrator and he said they have not changed anything on thwe server side...so it must be something gone hay-wire on the phone...any ideas on what could cause push to just stop?

Re: push email stopped working

Make sure that you have the correct domain setup under your active sync settings. If you are on the domain with your desktop you can check it by going START->SETTINGS->CONTROL PANEL->SYSTEM-> then click on the 'Computer Name; tab. You domain name should show up. Make sure this matches what is in active sync.

I think M$ had a server update that changed some things recently. Every time it went to sync with exchange it would ask for my pw. For whatever reason, it would work with the partial domain name vs. the full domain previously. Now it needs the full domain.

Hope this helps...

Re: push email stopped working

Have you connected the phone to your desktop or laptop machine and run active sync ?

Sometimes that will break the over-the-air sync.

In order to fix it you will need to delete the partnership with active sync and re-setup the connection.
