help physical keyboard stopped working

I was uninstalling and installing programs and I dont know what happened
the physical keyboard stopped working, I dont know what happened
I went to the repair store 2 days ago since when the phone vibrated there seemed to be screws loose and I dont want to have to go back again

I think this might be registry related or something I really dont want to do a hard reset and lose my registry settings
