Noob help on flashing got a erro code...

Hey guys,

i am new to this form site, i been reading alot about the flashing and unlocking your phone.

I have a sprint touch pro

I have downloaded all the files that i would need to flash my phone,i also already saved my PIM.

But i am getting a code error when i try to unlock my phone

Error [260] Connection

I dont think my phone is syncing up with my computer how can i tell if the phone is synced up correctly in order for me to unlock and flash my phone.

Please help
