Cant Flash Custom Roms...HELP!!
 

Ok so I have flashed many roms to the TP before. I just got a new replacment TP from Sprint and I loaded the Hard-SPL Unlocker from this thread:

That loaded fine, no errors just like I have done on other TP's.

Now when I goto flash a custom rom it loads the tricolor screen and it says security unlocked at the top and it looks fine.

Then it goes to the % grey screen and just sits at 0% then after a few min I get an error on the desktop.

I can load the stock upgrade ROM from the HTC site fine its just not letting me load any custom ones.

Any ideas??

The bootloader screen reads SPL-0.37.0000

That is the way its suppose to correct??

thought the commex word was in there? number sounds right, read the unlock from sd card thread, it says what its supposed to read. maybe commex is only on tp2, my tp isnt here or i would look.

got my tp for ya, it does say comnex, sorry to her about the spelling. i unlocked and flas using sd method. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=61333

Figured out the problem it was a new phone that came with .40. Had to flash manually an older version of .37 and then run the unlocker again.

What a pain!

the rom's can sometimes be tricky!
you just have to have the right combination.
glad you got it figured out!!
