Is arcsoft the program people use to get MMS to work? Do they have to be specific to carrier?

yes its a messaging program, I don't believe they have to be carrier specific, but I can be mistaken.

well, the one you mentioned (5.2.1.22) works great on all carriers i mentioned, but it's setup for sprint, so if you want to use it on other carriers, you have to go in and change the server settings. you can get an arcsoft cab setup for verizon or alltel in post#5 of the mightyrom thread. but those are a little older (5.0.69.44)

how stable is the 5.0.69.44? Reason I ask is once I do my reg edits and server setting's I never have an issue with the 5.2.1.22

very stable. it was the main one used at the beginning, but then 5.0.82.79 came along and introduced threaded MMS, and then 5.2.1.22 introducing voice message. but some chefs still have links to the 5.0.69.44 cause there were seperate cabs for that one that were set up to run on seperate carrier... not just sprint like the newer ones.

i can dig that, let me ask this, lets say I use the 5.2.1.22 and I install like a carrier cab, will the defaulted settings in that version of arcsoft change to that of the carrier cab?
