Removing EPST info before selling my TP

When I got rid of my old 6700, I just went in and unlocked the EPST settings and changed my MDN and MSID numbers to zeros (ten zeros). It worked and wiped out the number information and stopped the VM notifications. When I do the same on the Touch Pro, the settings don't stick.

The reason I want to do this is basic. I've switched over to a Touch Pro 2. The old phone is still getting Voice Mail notifications. If I sell the phone, I don't want my number to go out with it. I may just hang on to the device. I'm not sure yet, but I don't want it to keep telling me I have voice mail.

Does anyone have a clue how to get these settings to stick on the Touch Pro ?
