Touch Pro Updated Rom Issue

When I get a text message, I would have to scroll over each text message in the threaded view in order for it to clear the message notification envelope.

I was told to install the attached cab to fix the problem. The cab did fix the problem, but I just noticed that it messes up my outlook email. When I click the compose new message icon on the top right, it just goes into the "select an account" screen. Same thing happens when I click on the large envelope icon. When I open the inbox, I can't open any of the emails.

I tried uninstalling the cab and restarting the phone to no avail.

Any ideas?

Ok, I give up. How can I uninstall this cab? I tried using the remove program function, but it's still messed up.

Does anyone know how to revert back what this cab changed? Please help. Thanks

search for my most recent thread asking same question... delete that cab you installed and install the one that was given to me... its called "LOSER's SMS fix.cab"

I uninstalled the first cab, rebooted, and tried installing your cab. The text msg is working, but the email is still not working. Any other ideas? This sux.

hmmm so it was working before the unread sms install?

Man, sorry it hosed your email. I do have to say thanks for posting the .cab here, though, since the sms issue was driving me crazy. Since I don't use the e-mail feature, I figured what the heck. Sure enough, it ended my misery. Best of luck on getting your problem resolved, though.

Yea, it was working perfectly fine before the original install. The weird thing is, even after removing the cab, the unread sms issue was still fixed. Is it even possible that the cab made a permanent change?

I know nothing about programming so I cant open the cab to reverse it
