Re: Asurion replacing TP with TP2

I just called and I'm getting the tp2. I didnt do the online claim first, I just called.
the guy offered me other phones but I told him I want the tp2 instead, and he put me in hold and he said it was ok, and Ill get it tomorrow.
it was a fast service. I didnt know it was so easy.

the tp2 is new or could be a refurbished one?

Just called at 9:45. They are sending me the TP2, $100 deductable. My USB port was physically broken.

Luckily I have a spare battery charger to keep my phone alive.

Pretty awesome, even for $100 the TP2 is a steal.

It feels like its taking forever for them to get my paperwork done... Its driving me crazy. First time doing this too (claim) and I'm really hoping that they call back soon. I dont see how its taking so long considering I got the thing faxed fight after they closed, so I should have been very low on the list.

Am I able to cancel a claim if they tell me they got the TP back in stock? How far am I able to go till its to late to back out of that?

From my experience, if you don't pay or give consent to charge to your account, then the claim does not go through. So make sure before you pay or give any type of consent that the terms are clear.

What is considered a claim? If I did an advanced exchange is that a claim?

Thanks

AE, advanced exchange, is not considered a claim because that is handled by Sprint. I think that AE falls under the TEP part of the $7 monthly premiuim. My first replacement TP was done through AE because of faulty buttons. This replacement was handled by Asurion so I had to pay the $100.
