Re: remove software traces

haha. just look in the registry, stuff is typically in HKLM\software\vendor. another probably overkill thing you could do is install your cab, dump your registry, uninstall dump it again and run windiff on the files. some stuff will change but it should make it easier to see what changed. I recommend ceregeditor for the job :)

OR

send me the cab or just post it here and I or someone else will tell you exactly what regs it changed

Re: remove software traces

sometimes there are things buried in the setup.dll so the best way is via sktools.

this is everything:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\PHM\Registry Editor]
"regedit"="regedit.exe"
"View"=hex:0e,00,00,00
"LastKey"="\\"

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.reg]
@="regfile"

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\regfile]
@="Registration Entries"

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\regfile\DefaultIcon]
@="%InstallDir%\\regedit.exe,-104"

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\regfile\Shell\Open\Command]
@="\"%InstallDir%\\regedit.exe\" %1"

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.rbk]

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\RegBackup]
