I'd consider a tour, but I like having a touch screen. Is the tour as customizable as the tp1? I'd guess there is more software available. Is that right? The TP1 is probably better for watching videos on the subway. Let us know how the tour works for ya.

Question: Did anybody in New York City actually get a TP2? Please tell us your story. At this point out of curiosity more than anything else.

I just picked up my brand new TP2 today, Ordered wed and got it today, my TP has soo many issues that I couldn't even count so I am glad I was lucky enough to get the TP2.

Good on you. Did you feel like you did anything special or were you lucky when most people who tried didn't get theirs replaced?

I would say I was lucky and the employees were very nice, cuz last week I went to diff store and I was declined to even get diff phone, just the same old Refurbished TP, I didnt even let the manager take the phone to the tech, I grabbed it and left.

I finally got my NIB TP2 today. Took a lot of work tho. First I went to Sprint Corp Store and asked about the probs I was having. Half hour later they said they'd just replace my TP with a new model which would come in a few days. Waited, went in and they didn't order it. Called the next day and they still didn't order it so they placed the order for real this time. The next day they said they had my phone but it was TP1. I said the rep told me I'd get a TP2 cus of all the probs with TP1 and he said it would take another few days. Today I called and my TP2 came :-) Picked it up and now installing stuff (BTW I have no insurance, never have)

Another TP broke last week, and I was told that I could trade it for a snap or something else, but specifically not a TP2. I got another refurbished TP1.

If this breaks I'll first try sprint phone cust service, then asurion, then a different repair location.
