I understand about the fraud aspect of this however, Sprint should require at least 2 repair attempts on any given phone before giving in and replacing the phone for a TP2. It seems that so many people here are either mad when Sprint repairs the phone and doesn't not give them a TP2 or just assume that the repair will not work. I am on my 2nd TP and will have to get a third because the radio in my phone locks up so I can't make or receive a call. I realize that there are defective phones out there however, people are just of the mind that "I should get a new TP2 for my troubles". For those who have keyboard issues Sprint can replace the keyboard and many people that has worked just fine. I use that because it is the most common issue on this thread. If after 2 repair attempts then the phone should be replaced with a comparable phone which there are currently none available on the list. I think that Sprint put the TP2 on the list so that they can say we have a comparable phone it is just OOS. For those who have legitimate problems with their phones and have tried to work with Sprint you should be treated better than you have but for those who don't event want to try to let Sprint fix their phone and just want a new TP2 that is what I have an issue with.

I called to make sure of the status of mine today and the guy said that he's still waiting for the OOL status to change so he can place the five TP2 orders he's taken (including mine). He said that he would call me when it got to the store.

Sprint told me that they should be able to have it by Wednesday.

Thanks and I hope you're right. I have 2 weeks left on my 1 year warranty.. need to replace it with a refurb touch pro, or TP2 very soon.

Is anyone else picking one of these up? I'm going to go into my local ASC (no other store within 2+ hours) and see if they can give me a BB Tour as well (keyboard again!!!!). Are they having a big problem with these like they are giving out the TP2 as a replacement?

there are no cases for the tp you have to buy them. mine was a bnib

It sucks for me because I just received a Refurb Touch Pro on Tuesday and the keyboard was already jacked up. There is not a repair center within 300 miles of where I live. There is only a corp. store. They do orders by mail for replacement. This is my 2nd one and I have TEP. I wonder if they'll replace it with a TP2 because I really don't want a TP after the problems and my best friend went through 5 of them. :scratch:

I meant p0fell0w's BB Tour he took as a replacement. Normally they come NIB with a case, a memory card, and all that other good stuff.

Confirmed I talked to a third party store about it and they offered me a blackberry tour and told me if touch pro 2 was in stock Id be able to get it. My screen died again today on my second phone so its legit reason for touch pro 2 by far.

im really considering getting a tour...does anyone know how the battery life is on it?
