Took my old, chipped and scratched TP in after getting TEP on my account, because the mike was busted, and video sometimes didn't come up. Luckily the issues only just came up in the last month, so getting the TEP was a no-brainer. I was hoping for them to offer me a TP2, but they got me a refurb instead today. I guess that's worth it for the $7, the phone works well so far and I'm up a spare stylus. I may hold onto the TEP for a couple of months, waiting on WM7, but anyone else have a real bad experience with refurbs? Mine looks almost brand new...

Well I took mine troubled TP to a third party store today and they said they were going to get me a refurb TP2 but they had to keep my phone so I'm without a phone right now and they said it could possibly be in tomorrow but if not for sure Friday. I'll wait and see and keep you guys posted.

I received a refurb TP last week (I tried, maybe unconvincingly to get a TP2 through the repair center, but oh well) and it certainly does feel brand new even though the internals have many hours of use.

I have noticed the DPad acts up sometimes in not liking my finger, but I ocassionally had that problem on my original TP as well (purchased release day from Best Buy). Aside from that I haven't had any bad experiences with it for the past ~8 days with Sprint's Official ROM.

That being said, I just bought a TP2 and am trying to sell my newly refurbished TP (Sorry, had to throw that in there). Any takers can PM me.

Thanks for the heads up. I picked up two yesterday. kind of scared me when it said replacement was a 7380 but awesome deal $100 a piece.

They were doing this a while back. You had to be persisteent to get them to do it. I got my TP2 about 6 months ago from sprint for my tp. I still have my $150 credit towards a new phone too :).

Touch Pro stolen, just filed a claim they replaced it with an HTC 7380. Do I still have to call sprint or is my phone reported once I tell asurion?
