My 3rd touch pro is ordered from the corporate store, the tech told me I could call customer service to see my options; I called today, customer service associate said I could switch to the Tour, Curve, Treo Pro or Snap.. Asked to talk to his supervisor who gave him this information.. The supervisor (escalations) said that was absolutely false and said I could switch to a different phone by buying it for full retail price...

I had the digitizer problem, and it was being called "water damage" at the repair store. Even though the water exposure indicators weren't pink. They said I could go to the corporate store, they might be able to do more for me there. I never went, I just put up with the oily spot. Wasn't worth $100 to Asurion, or my time hassling with people.

I had a mogul and it was replaced once with a mogul (when TP's first came out) and when I saw that replacement was fobar i had it replaced but it took a month for the replacement to come in, at that point they said they weren't sending out moguls anymore and gave me a tp! That is how I ended up with 2 tps lol

I just got my tp exchanged with a tp2 this morning. I walked into the store and the rep i was talking to showed the tech the phone and he looked at it for 2 seconds and ok'd the exchange. The rep then stated i can exchange the phone for the Tour, Curve, Treo Pro, Snap, or Touch Pro 2 but i had to pay $100. i thought to myself why would i have too pay that cuz i have insurance. the rep then stated i would be getting extra accessories like a bluetooth headset, a case, and screen protectors. I agreed but was still wondering why. i chose the tp2. so the rep tried to order it but the warehouse was out. so the rep gave me a tp2 out of the stores stock. when i got the receipt from the transaction all that was on there was these extra accessories. so in the end the rep lied to me just to get a sale. i have a receipt for the accessories so i'm just gonna take them back and get my money back. also i don't know if i should complain to cs or what?

going to pick up my third replacement TP from my local corporate store tonight. The 2nd replacement was broken when I got it, blown speaker and the space bar didn't work.. right out of the store.
I don't know whether to hope this one finally works or hope it doesn't work so I can get a TP2 replacement. bah. PS: if you need a replacement, I highly recommend doing it in a repair store. The first time I went there was a guy there on the phone with CS who was on his fourth TP, but he couldn't get a different phone because he did the first 3 replacements over the phone. You need to do all 3 replacements in the store before they'll give you a different model phone, apparently. |
