I"ve noticed that when the TP1 gets laggy, it is time to clean it up. try deleting all text, mail, and other stuff in there. Also there is a great app floating around from HTCAddicts.com called cleanRAM I use that and it works great on the touch pro. Hope this helps

Lol.Most Likely.. I went in the day before yesterday and the guy in store did me a huge favor and said "Come back 2morrow. They're starting to replace TP's w/ TP2s so if your tired of getting TPs and have them mess up on u, come back 2morrow. If you did it today we'd have to order u a TP". I came back the next day and got it ordered.

I already had the TP2. Much better than TP as far as lag, but Id switch just b/c of the screen and keyboard.

They didnt have them in stores for me either but they said it would be overnighted so I should have it by today or 2morrow at the latest.

I have a sprint TP and my keyboard just died again. I always have to send it back to PCD to have it fixed because the phone is actually on metropcs. Is there anyway i can get a TP2? Or do you need a sprint plan and some kinda sprint insurance?

As far as I know u need the monthly insurance. I have it so the replacement was free. I think its $100 now if you dont have insurance and want to make a claim.

sounds to me like it's time for a hard reset dude.

The unfortunate fact is, these devices are really complicated, and with extended use, get even more complicated (in terms of code structure.) At some point, it's time to save your contacts, and purge the rest.

Try a custom rom. The steps are easy and some guy even made a video instruction on youtube.

I went in and handed them a screen clip of the sprint portal with the announcement. They didn't check my phone, didn't ask any questions, didn't care that this one hasn't even failed all the way yet (kb stops working every now and then, best one i've had so far.) As soon as they saw I was on my FIFTH tp 15 minutes later I was walking out the door with a smile on my face promised a tp2 on Monday.

Oh and did i mention I also could have had any color bb curve, a bb tour, treo pro, snap, and I think there was one more but I can't remember. So if you're done with WinMo, you can get a Tour for free!

So 9 times out of 10 if youre swapping out your first or second TP this probably wont work will it.
