Re: Best way to view animated weather radar
i set my IE home page to http://images.intellicast.com/Weathe..._None_anim.gif (case sensitive) which is the North East animated rain image and it works well. if you want a region other than the North East you can go to http://images.intellicast.com and find the one you're looking for.
weather panel works well, too, but i only use it on my Titan |

This is on a Toledo, Ohio TV stations web site. A couple stations in the area use the same application. I just use it as a browser favorite. The radar has been quite accurate in my experience. You can change to any city across the U.S.A. Not sure where you are located, but you can give it a try.

Try this:http://www.pocketpcfreeware.mobi/dow...her-radar.html It gives you a radar image based on your gps position. You can have it loop animation and zoom in and out.Pretty cool app for free.

Note: This application utilizes data connection. Unlimited data plan is recommended. How much of a drain on battery would this present? I would think significant. |

Re: Best way to view animated weather radar
+1 to accuweather.com. After navigating to the animated radar page, add it to your Favorites so you can go straight to it in the future. Total no-brainer.
