Touch Pro and Google Alerts

I have been trying to setup Google Alerts to send sms alerts to my Touch Pro via nnnnnnn@messaging.sprintpcs.com . The problem is that I only get half of the verification message from Google, so I actually get the verifcation link that google is sending. This is all I get, see below.

Subject: Google Email holder:

Dear Google Account holder:

We have received your request to add xxxxxxx@messaging.sprintp

That is the end of the message. Does anyone know why I don't get the entire message?
