Dropped my Touch Pro!

I just got my Touch Pro less than a week ago and I already dropped it this morning. It turns on and it works, but... the screen is now flipped sideways so I don't see my main screen anymore when i hold the phone upright, I just see the menu as it is when you open the keyboard from the main screen. Occasionally, if I flip open the keyboard I will see the main home screen but if i try to slide on it it goes back to the keyboard sideways menu. Please Help! I bought my phone from someone on Craigs List so I can't return it to the store and I am not sure if they can fix it since I didn't buy through them

Thanks so much!

try to calibrate the g-sensor... it may have gotten bumped out of whack when you dropped it. i believe it's in start>system>settings

Could you describe the flashing ROM process in English?

Re: Dropped my Touch Pro!

i'd personally try a hard reset before flashing a rom....
problem either way, though, is calibrating the screen when you need to

Re: Dropped my Touch Pro!

I tried a hard reset once and it seemed to work a little better. I could actually use my home screen for a little it before it would switch back to sideways view. I'm currently doing my second hard reset to see if that helps anymore. I was watching the videos that saidin69 sent me. And I am a little nervous about bricking my phone during that process plus the possiblity that they may not even fix my dilema.

Re: Dropped my Touch Pro!

to be quite honest, if a hard reset didn't do it, flashing a rom won't fix it either.
i hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it sounds like you have a hardware problem on your hands... probably broke the switch that detects whether the keyboard is in or out
