Do i need to relock?
 

I'm having some trouble with the screen on my Touch Pro (sprint) and want to take it in to the store so they will hopefully replace it.
I have unlocked my phone and flashed a custom rom to it (can't remember which one now though!) I have SPB Home on it as well.
Do I need to flash back the shipped rom?
Do I need to relock?
Is it ok if I have SPB home on it when i take it to them?
Do I need to remove any programs like WMWifi?

yes, you should definitely flash stock and relock.
better safe than sorry. if you don't and they turn you away, you can't just come back with it locked and say "oh hey look...!"

will I lose everything setup on my phone if I do that? Spb, all my settings, etc?
I can back up my contacts but how can i back up all that stuff?

try a program like sprite backup. it saves absolutely everything

Spb Backup has a Sync and Backup option for your desktop.
You can save your folders to a designated area on your desktop.
Then you can restore the data back to your device.
You can probably just keep all your programs on your Pro before you bring it in, and just flash the stock ROM back.
With Spb Backup, you can save all your data to your storage card.
Actually, if you don't have Spb Backup yet, you can download it as it comes with a trial period which includes 5 Backups & Restores.
You can just backup everything to your storage card.
You can then just put your card back into your device when you get it, and restore all your data.
I don't know about the new ROM though.

how do you guys know when it's relocked?? should I try and see if it fails to install a custom rom??

to know if it's locked or unlocked you have to look at the SPL version that is displayed on the bootloader (tricolor) screen
0.37.0000 = locked
0.37.cmonex = unlocked
