IDK what TEP is but id take that advice. Just bring it in and say u have a keyboard issue. they may see scratches, but those are cosmetic. They may not give u a new, fresh out the box TP, but (and hopefully) a non scratched refurd is definitely better than a scratched one. I've done it a few times, and am actually in the process of doin it again.

Some more advice, once u get the new one, INVEST in an Invisible Sheild. I have it and recommend it.

TEP is total equiptment protection. Insurance from sprint.

These things have the life expectancy of disposable contact lenses.. They should introduce a program like with contact lenses, where you replace them every 2 weeks.

They need to sell you a case of TPs, say 8 or so, so you go through them one by one, enough to last you a year.
