I have the same issue, and can confirm that the contrast app won't work on this phone, not all screen's are capable of changing contrast etc... this sucks, i just got my replacement phone today as well and am chocked by how crappy and washed out the screen is. I'm with Telus Mobility in canada. :disgust:

I got 2 replacements sent to me because of this. They all suck. I'm so pissed.

i actually had this issue, the people at telus thought i was crazy and colour blind. I was like that balck is off, adn ther elike no its not...they fianlly cracked open a NEW handset and relized i was right. Then sent out for another refurb and it had the same issue. So i left it. Eventually i had to get another referb for another issue, and lucly this refurb is fine. Finallly.
