this happened to me, i told the tech at my store to fix it, and he had no idea what to do so they gave me a new one. im on number 4!

I was having touch screen issues.. took my in today, I flash back to 6.1 however, I didn't relock. The tech checked the phone out and didn't say a word other than your phone is shot. I have a replacement on the way...

I'm on my 7th and I've never relocked. I just put the stock ROM back on.
